Dear Friends,

My company, T Carter Music began in early 2007 with the independent single release of This Ring.  A song that is truly dear to my heart and a song that I wrote and performed at my own wedding, This Ring is the foundation of T Carter Music and the song that started it all.  With the success of This Ring, I was encouraged to take a closer look at what music was being offered to potential brides and grooms.  I found that there was a need for great moment specific ceremony songs and a desire for classical compositions arranged with elegance and intimacy.  With this understanding, I began writing more original ceremony music and plans were beginning for a classical ceremony collection that would set the industry standard.

By summer of 2007, I had completed writing Dance with Me, a unique arrangement for the bride and groom's first dance, and by fall I had put the finishing touches on Here We Stand, a powerful and emotional unity candle song.  The next few months were devoted to finding the perfect songs for a classical ceremony collection.  By early winter, I had selected all of the songs that I wanted, but my "vision" had slightly grown once again.  I wanted to also produce a groundbreaking "Celtic influenced" classical wedding CD, a project that until now, had never been done.  The next order of business was finding the right musicians for these ambitious projects.  Thanks to the help of a good friend, I was able to hire some of the most accomplished musicians in the music industry.  These performers have worked with superstars such as Garth Brooks, James Taylor, and the Dixie Chicks to name a few.  With the music in place and the final touches complete on the artwork design packaging, and company branding, T Carter Music was finally ready for launch.

In January of 2008, T Carter Music released three breathtaking wedding CDs: Lyrical Vows of Unity, featuring original recordings for the ring exchange, lighting of the unity candle, and the bride and groom's first dance; Serenade-A Classical Wedding Collection, featuring 12 of the most intimate, elegant, and romantic wedding songs ever recorded; and Highland Serenade-A Celtic Inspired Wedding Collection, sure to capture of the hearts of many with its unique blend of classical treasures and traditional Celtic influence.

In May of 2008, I began working on ideas for a father/daughter dance song.  A bit hesitant because of the competition in this music category, I continued writing and found myself engrossed in a heartfelt and emotional love song from a father to his daughter.  Daddy's Angel was finished and recorded in June and is currently a T Carter Music favorite.

In November of 2008, I found myself with the biggest writing challenge I've had thus far: I needed a great mother/son dance song written from the mother's point of view.  This meant I also needed to write my first song for a female lead vocal.  I had the music already complete, but I was unsure where I was going with the lyrics.  I finally realized I needed to look no further than to watch my lovely wife interact with my two little boys to gain the inspiration that I needed.  Recorded in December of 2008, A Mother's Song focuses on the special relationship that is shared between a mother and her son.  From "little boy days" to his wedding day, this song whispers motherly advice all along the way.

In February of 2009 T Carter Music began the groundwork for a new and exciting website that would feature many unique qualities as well as implement the latest technology in web design and function.  This new site will become the new home for T Carter Music for years to come.

In July of 2009, with months of preparation and testing, the launch of the new T Carter Music website was official.

May, 2010.  I had wanted to write a fun, upbeat ceremony song for quite some time now.  I finally wrote "Fit To Be Tied" and had it produced in the same manner as my other original songs.  I think it's a great fit for those looking for something different for their exit song, reception entrance song, or even a fun first dance.

In May of 2011 we launched our Acoustic Wedding Guitar collection featuring 11 classical wedding songs performed on classical guitar.  This collection features all the wedding favorites such as Canon in D, the Bridal Chorus, and the Wedding March. The highlight of the collection is a beautiful guitar version of "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles.

It's been a busy few years to say the least.  I hope that my songs will find the hearts of many.  I personally thank you for your interest in T Carter Music, and I wish you many blessings on your wedding day.

God Bless,

Tony Carter
